Te Rau Matatini administers a number of Ministry of Health (Health Workforce New Zealand) funded scholarship programmes to build the capacity, capability of the health sector with a specific focus on Māori and the Mental Health and Addiction sector.
The 2018 scholarships will be open 9 January – 9 February 2018.
Our scholarship programmes provide opportunities for both Māori and Non-Māori studying in health, and specifically for the mental health and addiction sector. Through encouraging new people into the sector or assisting current workforces to develop their professional repertoire through formal study, the Māori health and the mental health and addiction sector is positioned for positive growth into the future.
